Event Reins Terms of Service

Agreement

By using Event Reins ("the service"), you agree to these terms. Event Reins is operated by DewWow LLC ("we," "us," "our"). If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.

Event Reins connects horse show organizers with the people who enter their shows. These terms cover both:

  • Organizers: the clubs, associations and businesses that run shows, and their staff.
  • Exhibitors: riders, horse owners, trainers, and parents or guardians acting for junior riders.

Your Account

You can create a free account. You must be 18 or older to create an account. A parent or guardian creates and manages the profile of a rider under 18, and is responsible for it.

You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity under it. Provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and do not share your login.

For Organizers

  • You are responsible for your shows: prize lists, class specifications, rules, fees, refund and scratch policies, and compliance with the rules of any association your show is part of.
  • You decide what documents you require, such as a negative Coggins test, health certificates or memberships. Event Reins helps you check them but does not verify that a document is genuine.
  • Entry fees are paid into your own payment account, connected through Stripe. You are the seller. You handle refunds, taxes and disputes with your exhibitors.
  • Waivers and releases you collect through Event Reins are agreements between you and your exhibitors. We record when and how each one was signed. We do not give legal advice about their wording.
  • You may publish results, including the names of horses and riders and their placings.

For Exhibitors

  • When you enter a show, your entry is an agreement with that show's organizer, under the organizer's rules, fees and refund policy.
  • Documents you upload, such as a Coggins test, must be genuine and current.
  • When you sign a waiver in Event Reins, you are signing the organizer's waiver. We keep a record of what you signed, when, and from which device address.
  • Show results, including your name, your horse's name and your placings, may be published by the organizer and shown on public pages.

Payments

Payments for entries go directly to the organizer through Stripe. DewWow does not hold show money, and your card details are handled by Stripe, never stored by us.

Plans and Fees

Event Reins offers a free plan and paid plans for organizers. Plan features may change over time. Paid plan prices and features may change with 30 days' notice, and you may cancel a paid plan at any time. Any fees an organizer passes on to exhibitors are shown before you pay.

Sponsors

Event Reins may show messages from sponsors, such as a business presenting a show's results. A sponsor message is not an endorsement by us or by the organizer. We do not share your personal information with sponsors, and we do not use tracking for sponsor messages.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Event Reins only for lawful purposes connected with horse shows. You may not:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Upload false documents or enter on someone else's behalf without their permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, shows or systems
  • Upload harmful content, viruses or malicious code
  • Interfere with the operation of the service
  • Copy, resell or redistribute the service without permission

Your Data

You own the information you put into Event Reins. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to run the service.

Show records belong to the organizer who ran the show: entries, bills, results and the signed waivers for that show. If you close your account, your profile is deleted, but the organizer keeps the records of the shows you entered.

Service Availability

We work to keep Event Reins available, including on show days, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or experience outages, and we will try to schedule planned maintenance away from shows.

Limitation of Liability

Event Reins is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. That includes the running of a show, the result of a class, and any dispute between an organizer and an exhibitor. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. When an account is closed, we delete its profile data within 30 days. Show records stay with the organizers, as described above.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will tell you about significant changes by email or in the service. If you keep using Event Reins after a change, you accept the new terms.
